Crest: Issuant from a coronet of a fidalgo cavaleiro Proper, a dexter arm
vested Azure, the hand grasping a linden branch Proper.
Supporters: Two lions rampant Or, each crowned with a coronet of a

Dr. Lindgren possesses a grant of Spanish Arms based on his Great-Grandfather's color drawing (Karl Magnus Lindgren - 1891) given to his Grandfather (Melker Edvin Lindgren) and father (Carl Edwin Lindgren y Barker).

I CERTIFY: that the Coat of Arms that correspond to use of the
Distinguished Mister Carl Edwin Lindgren y Barker, natural of Coeburn, Virginia
(United States), born on January 07, 1923 and married on July 14, 1948 in the
same city, with Ruby Kate Corder y Moore, of whose marriage was born: Carl Edwin
Lindgren y Corder, in Coeburn, Virginia (United States) on November 20, 1949,
whose arms of centennial antiquity are organized and composed by the following
way:

In blue field (azure) a narrow cross, of red (gules) quarterings the
shield. Quartelings: the first, three scallop-shell, of silver, disposed in one
and two; the second, a lamb, of gold; the third, an oak of gold; the fourth, a
silver owl.
The crest is a barred helmet of steel, with embroideries and protectors
of gold, linked in the same ones, covered of red (gules), and added of a wreath
of blue (azure) and gold, that leaves mantlings or lambrequin of the same
enamels, added by its time of an arm of a natural blue dress (azur), sustaining
a tree branch, in a natural way.
It is going supporting the Coat of Arms, two rampant lions, of gold,
crowned with marquis's crowns.
Motto: in ribbon of gold with black letters: "NITERE AD OPUS
MAGNUM". (The Search for God and Goodness)
This arms, as described and colored above can be used by the
Distinguished Mister Carl Edwin Lindgren y Barker, that could record, sculpt and
paint in customary places without any impediment is placed him, when possessing
this Certification of Heraldries, aided, ratified, legalized to the use of the
same ones, for the Distinguished Mister Carl Edwin Lindgren y Barker, for whom
it makes this attribution, as well as for its legitimate ones in the place that
corresponds them.
And to consist from where it suits the petition, issue the present
Certificate of Arms as my accreditation checked by the Royal Ordinances of
November 17, 1749 and of June 16, 1802, as well as for the Royal Ordinance of
