TIPS TO HELP YOU ALONG THE WAY Microsoft Linux Anti-Virus Hardware Software About Me

Microsoft is the most popular operating system in use today. On average 80% of the computers in use are running some version of Windows. Windows is considered to be a user friendly OS. Mainly because of the point and click environment that it offers. It is easy to learn how to navigate through Windows and install new software or hardware. One draw back to Windows is that because of it's ease of use it is more susceptible to viruses and spy ware than one of  its counter parts like Linux or Macintosh. Granted Microsoft offers updates for its OS to help protect its weak spots, most of us don't take advantage of the upgrades. However the upgrades alone will not prevent attacks on our systems. You also need a anti-virus program to help protect your system.

To update your Windows computer click the start button. Notice the icon at the top of  the main menu "Windows Update". When you click this icon you will go to Microsoft's website and it will find the updates available for your version of Windows. You should update this on a regular basis. Some viruses are designed to take advantage of the computers that have not been updated.
