Matthew 24:21
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. (KJV)

This is a one time event! Never another like it!

Matthew 24:29-30
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: ³⁰And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (KJV)

1. People will be able to SEE this abomination.

Matthew 24:15
When ye therefore shall SEE the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) (KJV)

SEE = eido {i’do} = to perceive (know) with the eyes; to perceive by any of the senses; discern; = to turn the eyes, mind, and attention to anything; to ascertain what must be done about it.

Matthew 24:16-20
Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: ¹⁷Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: ¹⁸Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. ¹⁹And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! ²⁰But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: (KJV)

• Whatever that is about to happen, will happen extremely quickly. In other passages, it speaks of "in one hour," & "sudden destruction."
       
• It will be very difficult for pregnant women or mother with small children.
       
• These events will begin on a weekend & during the winter time.
       
• Consider these scriptures, being just a few of many, that seem to fit this prophecy:

Revelation 12:6
And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. (KJV)

Revelation 18:8
Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. (KJV)

Revelation 18:17-18
For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, ¹⁸And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! (KJV)

Luke 23:27-31
And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him. ²⁸But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children. ²⁹For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck. ³⁰Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us. ³¹For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?

Luke 19:41-44
And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, ⁴²Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. ⁴³For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, ⁴⁴And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation. (KJV)

Isaiah 13:16
Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished. (KJV)

1 Thessalonians 5:2-5
For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. ³For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. ⁴But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. ⁵Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. (KJV)

Jeremiah 30:4-7
And these are the words that the LORD spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah. ⁵For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. ⁶Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? ⁷Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. (KJV)

3. Jesus tells of the complete devastation.

Matthew 24:22
And except those days should be shortened, there should NO FLESH be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. (KJV)

4. It may be that this is the time when the first SIX SEALS of Revelation 6 are fulfilled. The seventh seal is the wrath of God! The "great tribulation" & the wrath of God are not the same thing!. The saved will be in the flesh in the time of the "great tribulation," but will not be in the wrath of God.

1 Thessalonians 5:9
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, (KJV)

5. The six seals of Revelation 6 extend from the time of the Gentiles receiving the gospel until the Lord Jesus appears "immediately after the tribulation of those days."(Mat.24:)

1. Seal # 1
   = the Word of God going forth into all nations bringing peace to the believers. (This is not a false peace; it is not anti-Christ!) (Judah was taught the "bow." It is silly to say that he had no arrows!) He conquers with finality. = Greek {HE was given NO authority, HE is the authority!)

Revelation 6:2
And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. (KJV)

Revelation 19:11-13
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. ¹²His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. ¹³And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

Matthew 24:13-14
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. ¹⁴And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. (KJV)

2. Seal # 2
   = The shedding of BLOOD in all manners. This is the rise of EVIL that takes away peace that had prior come through the gospel. The gospel is now silenced. The "restraining power of the Holy Spirit" has been removed.

Revelation 6:4
And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. (KJV)

Ezekiel 7:5-9
Thus saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come. ⁶An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come. ⁷The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains. ⁸Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations. ⁹And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth. (KJV)

Jeremiah 1:14-16
Then the LORD said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land. ¹⁵For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah. ¹⁶And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands. (KJV)

Jeremiah 6:1-2
O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Bethhaccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction. ²I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman. (KJV

Tekoa = a stockade;

Bethhaccerem
= Beyth-hak-kerem {bayth-hak-keh’-rem}
= house of the vineyard; refers to a place in Judah.

Jeremiah 25:29-33
For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the LORD of hosts.
     ³⁰Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth. ³¹A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD. ³²Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. ³³And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground. (KJV)

Jesus speaks of this time when there will be NO PREACHING OF THE GOSPEL and a silencing of the witnesses that have been proclaiming the gospel.

John 9:4
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when NO MAN CAN WORK. (KJV)

Mark 13:9-11
But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. ¹⁰And the gospel must first be published among all nations. ¹¹But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. (KJV)

Today, as this is being written, there is a group being led by anti-Christ leaders calling for a one world "religion" in which ALL FAITHS are accepted. This WILL come to pass!

Daniel 12:6-7
And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? ⁷And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and WHEN he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

Daniel 7:25
And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. (KJV)

(this is a reference to the mental condition)

(There are two other uses of this word showing a "wasting" or wearing down mentally. See at 2 Sam. 7:10 & 1 Chron. 17:9)

Revelation 13:5-7
And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. ⁶And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. ⁷And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. (KJV)

Revelation 12:17
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. (KJV)

3. Seal #3
   = The yoking of ALL THE WORLD together under one world government. This Greek word does NOT translate "balances" as weighing, for the grain is MEASURED, not weighed. G = zugos {dzoo-gos’} from a root word that means to join by a yoke; = a coupling; servitude {by a law or obligation};The beam of the balance as connecting a scale.

Revelation 6:5-6
And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. ⁶And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, a measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. (KJV)

Black is the symbol for all that is BAD. It represents sorrow, doom, gloom, wailing, bondage, etc.

It also shows the unequal distribution of food & money. The poor get poorer & the rich, richer!

A day’s wage will buy only a day’s meal. It symbolizes famines, plagues, & dire circumstances.

It will be a time of spiritual bondage.

4. Seal # 4
   = The resulting conditions of seals 2 & 3; = DEATH & THE GRAVE

Revelation 6:7-8
And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. ⁸And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. (KJV)

pale = chloros {khlo-ros’}
= yellowish-green (c/f. "Chlorine") (pallid color of a corpse)

death = thanatos {than’-at-os}
= death comprising ALL the miseries arising from sin;

grave = hades {hah’-dace}
= the realm of the dead. (Not gehenna, the hell of fire)

A fourth of the world today would be one fourth of about 1.6 billion of people to die by some means of calamitous death = war, famine, disease, & wild animals.

Zechariah 14:12
And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth. (KJV)

Matthew 24:21-22

5. Seal # 5
   = The martyrs of the future to be fulfilled.

Revelation 6:9-11
And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: ¹⁰And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? ¹¹And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. (KJV)

These SOULS are those resurrected saints that came out of the graves immediately after and in connection with the resurrection of Jesus. A "soul" is the spirit & body in combination. These are the ones that Jesus led captive with him as a "firstfruits" offering to The Father when HE ascended immediately after His resurrection. These scriptures show this truth!

Matthew 27:52-53
And the graves were opened; and many BODIES of the saints which slept arose, ⁵³And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. (KJV)

(This is the 1^st resurrection of Revelation 20:4-6)

John 20:16-17
Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master. ¹⁷Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. (KJV)

The Greek shows that this was immediate & not 40 days later!

Ephesians 4:8-10
Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. ⁹(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? ¹⁰He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) (KJV)

(These were the first fruits as seen in Exodus 23:16 and pointed to the feast of the ingathering when Jesus returns at the resurrection of ALL in the graves.

Colossians 2:15
And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. (KJV)

Jesus led these resurrected martyrs through the very strongholds of satan in the heavenlies showing His complete victory over satan & death! Every victor after a war did this as he led his captives through the streets of his enemy in a parade.

The final resurrection (only one) will take place at the last day!

John 5:28-29
Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which ALL that are in the graves shall hear his voice, ²⁹And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. (KJV)

John 6:39-40
And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. ⁴⁰And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:44
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. (KJV)

John 6:54
Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. (KJV)

John 11:23-24
Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. ²⁴Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. (KJV)

John 12:48
He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. (KJV)

Hebrews 9:27
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

6. Seal # 6
   = The Great Shaking that the LORD promises at the end of "time."

Hebrews 12:26-27
Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. ²⁷And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. (KJV)

Haggai 2:6-7
For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; ⁷And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.

Matthew 24:29-31

Revelation 1:7
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and EVERY EYE shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. (KJV)

(The ONLY WAY they who pierced Jesus that day will SEE Him is that they be resurrected!)

Acts 1:10-11
And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, (NOT ASCENDED) behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; ¹¹Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. (On clouds) KJV

ALL SIX of these seals fit in exactly with what Jesus gave as signs to us so that we would know about His return. They ALL take place during the great tribulation, NOT the wrath of God!

Luke 21:26-28
Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. ²⁷And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. ²⁸And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. (KJV)

(This "redemption" is speaking of the resurrection & change of the physical body!) As seen in --

Ephesians 1:12-14
That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. ¹³In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, ¹⁴Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. (KJV)

Romans 8:22-23
For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. ²³And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

THE SIXTH SEAL of Revelation 6:12-16 corresponds to Mat. 24:29, Mark 13:24-27, Lu.21:25.

Revelation 6:12-17
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; ¹³And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. ¹⁴And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. ¹⁵And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; ¹⁶And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: ¹⁷For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

(This SHOWS that it is in the FUTURE and has NOT yet taken place!)
