-
ALL that is seen, including the heavens where the stars, sun, & moon are,
WILL BE destroyed. Almighty God will create new heavens and earth. He will NOT
renovate these present ones as some teach in error.
- The very meaning of the word, "create," means to bring into existence,
that which does not previously exist, and to do so out of "nothing." By the WORD
of God it is done!
- Here are a few scriptures & definitions to prove that the above is true:
Matthew 24:35
Heaven and earth shall pass away,
but my words shall not pass away.
Mark 13:31
Heaven and earth shall pass away:
but my words shall not pass away.
Luke 21:33
Heaven and earth shall pass away:
but my words shall not pass away.
Psalm 102:25-26
Of old hast thou laid the foundation
of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands. 26They
shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old
like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be
changed: (KJV)
Isaiah 51:6
Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and
look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like
smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein
shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my
righteousness shall not be abolished. (KJV)
Matthew 24:29
Immediately after the tribulation of
those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be
shaken: (KJV)
Isaiah 34:4
And all the host of heaven shall be
dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and
all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as
a falling fig from the fig tree. (KJV)
2 Peter 3:5-7
For this they willingly are ignorant
of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing
out of the water and in the water: 6Whereby the world that then
was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7But the heavens and
the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto
fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. (KJV)
2 Peter 3:10-13
But the day of the Lord will come as
a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great
noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the
works that are therein shall be burned up.
11Seeing then that all these things shall be
dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy
conversation and godliness, 12Looking for and hasting unto the
coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be
dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13Nevertheless
we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth,
wherein dwelleth righteousness. (KJV)
Psalm 75:3
The earth and all the inhabitants
thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah. (KJV)
Revelation 20:11
And I saw a great white throne, and
him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and
there was found no place for them. (KJV)
Isaiah 65:17-18
For, behold, I create new heavens
and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into
mind. 18But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that
which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and
her people a joy. (KJV)
Revelation 21:1-5
And I saw a new heaven and a new
earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed
away; and there was no more sea. 2And I John saw the
holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared
as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a great voice out
of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he
will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be
with them, and be their God. 4And God shall wipe away all
tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor
crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are
passed away. 5And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold,
I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are
true and faithful. (KJV)
-
There are two (2) ultimate destinations:
For the unsaved = the lake of fire. For the Saved = the New Jerusalem.
The lake of fire is already prepared; the New Jerusalem is being prepared by
our Lord Jesus Christ. It will "come down" upon the new earth.
Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed,
into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
prepared = hetoimazo
{het-oy-mad’-zo}
= to make ready; prepared; get everything ready; as persons sent on before
kings to level the roads & make passable.
It is in the Perfect tense = once for all, no need to repeat it; Passive voice.
John 14:2-3 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told
you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and
prepare a place for
you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye
may be also. (KJV)
prepare
= same as above in definition: {het-oy-mad’-zo}
First "prepare" =
in the Aorist tense = point or punctiliar action of the verb;
Active voice = the subject does the action;
in the Infinitive mood = "to" reflects the purpose or result.
Second "prepare" =
in the Aorist tense;
Active voice;
BUT in the Subjunctive mood = showing His desired intention.
Revelation 21:2 And I John saw the holy city,
new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of
heaven, prepared as
a bride adorned for her husband. (KJV)
prepared = same definition. BUT,
in the Perfect tense = having been completed, once & for all, & no need to be
repeated.
in the Passive voice = the subject receives the action;
& in the Participle mood = represents the "ed" as a verbal noun.
-
The two places given above are for the eternal BODY, and are the final
destinations.
The LOST will be in an eternal body in the eternal fire; The
SAVED will be in an eternal body in the new Jerusalem, located on the new earth.
Until the bodily resurrection occurs, the SPIRIT of the DEAD goes
either into a "torment," or into the Presence of God.
Luke 16:19-26
There was a certain rich man, which
was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 20And
there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of
sores, 21And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the
rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22And
it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the
angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23And
in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off,
and Lazarus in his bosom. 24And he cried and said, Father Abraham,
have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in
water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25But
Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good
things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou
art tormented. 26And beside all this, between us and you there
is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you
cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. (KJV)
NO ONE goes into their final destination UNTIL after the bodily
resurrection of ALL and the JUDGMENT of ALL.Several parables are given to illustrate:
Matthew 13:37-43
He answered and said unto them, He
that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; 38The field is the
world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the
children of the wicked one; 39The enemy that sowed them is the
devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
40As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so
shall it be in the end of this world. 41The Son of man shall send
forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that
offend, and them which do iniquity; 42And shall cast them into a
furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43Then
shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.
Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. (KJV)
Matthew 13:47-50
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like
unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:
48Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and
gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. 49So shall
it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the
wicked from among the just, 50And shall cast them into the
furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. (KJV)
Matthew 25:31-34
When the Son of man shall come in his
glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of
his glory: 32And before him shall be gathered all nations:
and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth
his sheep from the goats: 33And he shall set the sheep on his
right hand, but the goats on the left. 34Then shall the King say
unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the
kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: (KJV)
Matthew 25:41
Then shall he say also unto them on
the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire,
prepared for the devil and his angels: (KJV)
Matthew 25:46
And these shall go away into
everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (KJV)
-
The following events will take place AT the appearing of Jesus in the clouds.
Jesus DOES NOT come back and walk on THIS earth again! The saved will RISE to
meet Him in the air and "ever be with the Lord."
- There is NO SECRET coming of Jesus "for His Church," nor does He ever say
anything about reigning on this earth in the earthly City of Jerusalem for a
1,000 year period. This is an erroneous attempt on the part of some to fit in
their false teaching.
- Jesus returns ONLY ONCE and that is immediately after
the great
tribulation.
- Jesus is NOT coming secretly, but IN THE CLOUDS just as He was caught away, and
"Every EYE will see Him, even those that pierced Him." (This requires the
resurrection)
- ALL of the SAVED will rise to meet Him in the air!
Acts 1:9-11 And when he had spoken these things,
while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out
of their sight. 10And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as
he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11Which
also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same
Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like
manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. (KJV)
Matthew 24:29-31 Immediately after the tribulation
of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her
light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens
shall be shaken: 30And then shall appear the sign of the Son
of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and
great glory. 31And he shall send his angels with a great sound
of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds,
from one end of heaven to the other. (KJV)
Matthew 24:23-27
Then if any man shall say unto you,
Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24For
there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great
signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the
very elect. 25Behold, I have told you before. 26Wherefore
if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold,
he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27For as the
lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall
also the coming of the Son of man be.
Revelation 1:7
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and
every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all
kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. (KJV)
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
For the Lord himself shall descend
from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump
of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which
are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds,
to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (KJV)
Matthew 26:63-64
But Jesus held his peace. And the
high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that
thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God. 64Jesus
saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall
ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming
in the clouds of heaven. (KJV)
Daniel 7:13-14
I saw in the night visions, and,
behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and
came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. 14And
there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people,
nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting
dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not
be destroyed. (KJV)

QUESTION:
HOW can
Jesus Christ REIGN in the earthly Jerusalem 1,000 literal years and THEN
Satan be able to "deceive and gather" ALL nations?
WOULD those being born during this time be saved or lost?
WILL our Lord Jesus reign over a LOST & REBELLIOUS WORLD???
This scripture (Rev. 20:6-7-8) DOES NOT say He reigns on earth, BUT IT
SAYS these resurrected martyrs reign with Him. These are those who were
raised from the graves in "connection with" His resurrection and the ones He led
captive with Him when He ascended immediately after His resurrection. (Mat.27:52-53)
HE is reigning NOW; after HE returns in the clouds & gathers His Kingdom,
He will turn it over to the Father, The One He came to call out a Kingdom for!
Revelation 20:4
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon
them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them
that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God,
and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had
received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and
reigned with Christ a thousand years. (KJV)
"SOULS," are Living Bodies!
Matthew 27:52-53
And the graves were opened; and many
bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53And came out of the
graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and
appeared unto many. (KJV)
John 20:17
Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not;
for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto
them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your
God. (KJV)
No word of "ascension" in Acts 1:9-11; He was
caught up.
Ephesians 4:8-10
Wherefore he saith, When he
ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto
men. 9(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended
first into the lower parts of the earth? 10He that descended is the
same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all
things.) (KJV)
This "fill ALL things" refers to the taking of His very own precious blood
into the true sanctuary above as is shown in Hebrews 8:1 through 10:14. How
many preachers have you ever heard preach on this?????
Colossians 2:14-15
Blotting out the handwriting of
ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of
the way, nailing it to his cross; 15 And having spoiled
principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them
in it.
esus led this vast group of bodily resurrected martyrs through the heavenlies where they are located, showing that He had conquered satan, and
satan’s power of death. This was a spoil!
Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and
blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the
darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (KJV)
Hebrews 2:14-15
Forasmuch then as the children are
partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same;
that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death,
that is, the devil; 15And deliver them
who
through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Jesus did this when He died on the cross & crushed the
serpent’s head & bound him.
John 12:31 Now
is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
1 Corinthians 15:25-28
For he must reign, till he
hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that
shall be destroyed is death. 27 For he hath put all things
under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest
that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him,
then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may
be all in all. (KJV)
Jesus is said to be reigning NOW! He will reign UNTIL "death" is
destroyed = at the resurrection of ALL IN THE GRAVES (John 5:28-29) &
then He will return to the glory that
He had with The Father before the foundation of the world.
John 17:4-5
I have glorified thee on the earth:
I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. 5And
now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which
I had with thee before the world was. (KJV)
All of this chapter is the prayer of JESUS.
Luke 21:25-28
And there shall be signs in
the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of
nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26Men's
hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are
coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27And
then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power
and great glory. 28And when these things begin to come to
pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption
draweth nigh. (KJV)
HOW WOULD ONE DO THIS if there was a "SECRET COMING?" The "signs"
will occur first–so WATCH!
Mark 13:24-27
But in those days, after that
tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her
light, 25And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers
that are in heaven shall be shaken. 26And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
27And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect
from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost
part of heaven. (KJV)
HOW could there be any one to reign on the earth SINCE IT WILL BE
DESTROYED along with the sun, moon, & stars?
Mark 14:61-62
But he held his peace, and answered
nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the
Christ, the Son of the Blessed? 62And Jesus said, I am: and ye
shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming
in the clouds of heaven. (KJV)
|
- WHEN Jesus returns in the clouds, the bodily resurrection of ALL takes
place. ALL of the spirits of those having died will be reunited to a resurrected, eternal, body. ALL
will then stand to be JUDGED & AN ACCOUNTING
be given of each individual of his life on the earth while he was in the "flesh
& blood" body.
- ALL of the lost will remain on this earth as it is being burned up and
will experience a foretaste of eternal torment in the lake of fire. This
is called, " the wrath of God."
- ALL of the saved will rise to meet the Lord Jesus in the air &
ever be with Him. The saved will not be in the "wrath of God," but will
experience the great tribulation.
These two events are absolutely different!
- The First Six seals of Revelation 6:1-14 reveal the conditions of
the great tribulation.
The Seventh seal reveals the wrath of God.
The saved are "caught up to Jesus" at the end
of the great
tribulation & before the wrath of God begins.
Revelation 6:15-17
And the kings of the earth, and the
great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and
every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks
of the mountains; 16And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on
us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the
wrath of the Lamb: 17For the great day of his wrath is
come; and who shall be able to stand? (KJV)Revelation 7:9-10
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great
multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and
people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed
with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10And cried with a loud
voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto
the Lamb. (KJV)Revelation 7:14-17
And I said unto him, Sir, thou
knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great
tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood
of the Lamb. 15Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne
shall dwell among them. 16They shall hunger no more, neither thirst
any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. 17For
the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead
them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from
their eyes. (KJV)
1 Thessalonians 5:9-10 For God
hath not appointed us to
wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10Who
died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together
with him. (KJV)
(( nothing is said here about a 1,000 reign of Christ.))
1 Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify
you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be
preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.(KJV)
only one coming!
2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 Now we beseech you, brethren,
by
the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering
together unto him, 2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be
troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that
the day of Christ is at hand. 3Let no man deceive you by any
means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling
away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (KJV)
